Two gas stations in Niles have been the target of a rash of robberies in the past few months, and now police are asking for your help in catching the culprits.
The most recent robbery happened Tuesday around 3:30 in the morning. A gunman entered the Admiral Gas Station on Chicago Rd. and demanded money, then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The same thing happened Monday at the Admiral Gas Station on Oak St.
The Chicago Rd. station has been robbed three other times in the past few months. Once just this past Saturday and twice in mid-October.
The crimes are not necessarily related, and the suspects vary in race and age. All the suspects were wearing heavy clothing, hoods, gloves and their faces were covered.
