Notre Dame will play Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game in Miami on January 7 and a lot of folks in Michiana hope they'll get to see the game in person. On Wednesday everyone who signed up for the ticket lottery will find out if it paid off.
More than 100-thousand people entered the lottery and only 17-thousand will win. This lottery does not include student tickets. Those have already been announced. Just like the season ticket lottery, the bowl game lottery is weighted. That means the University takes into account a number of different factors about the person requesting the tickets.
Winners will received two tickets to the National Championship game. The winners will be announced at 8:30 a.m. If you want to know whether you won you can visit the University's lottery web site.
