Crews battle fire at home in Elkhart County

A home in Oslo Township caught fire Wednesday morning, closing down the 26,000 block of County Road 4.

Crews were called out to the fire shortly after 7:30am.  No injuries have been reported at this time.

The fire stayed in the front of the house and mainly damaged the ceiling.  The house is not a total loss.  Crews did have to cut holes in the roof while fighting.

The family told FOX28 News that they have lived in the home for fifteen years.

Crews are still investigating a cause of the blaze.  FOX28 News has a crew on the scene and will update you with more information as it becomes available.
