Did you do anything special to celebrate 12-12-12? It's a once in a century date so imagine the joy of parents whose children were born Wednesday.
Korey Lee Wade was born at Elkhart General Hospital at 12:12 PM. Mom was a little worn out so dad took over the speaking duties to talk about this numerically proud moment. "We were scheduled for 10:30 AM," said Korey's dad Ben. "They just kind of got backed up and it just so happened to fall right on 12:12. We were hoping for it too!"
At seven pounds ten ounces, 20 and a half inches tall, Baby Korey has a lot of growing up to do before he realizes the significance of the time and date he came into the world. "He hasn't fully opened his eyes yet," Ben said as he held Korey. "He's definitely going to be excited about it too when he can understand that."
Korey will share his 12-12-12 birthday with little Thomas Madison who was born at St. Joe Regional Medical Center Wednesday. Baby Thomas has FIVE sisters. The Madisons didn't plan the whole 12-12-12 thing, but Thomas made things even more interesting by being born at noon! "They started the process. It just so happened that at 12:00PM exactly was the time of birth," said his dad Ryan Madison.
So happy birthday Thomas and Korey. Your family members have Zero excuses not to remember you were born on 12-12-12!
