Santa will be making a grand entrance this weekend on.....get this...a kayak.
Santa on the waterway is an annual tradition that takes place in downtown South Bend.
The event invites about 100 children from local shelters and provides them with gifts, games and a holiday meal.
Organizers say the response from the kids has been tremendous.
"Its pretty gratifying and I know I feel lucky and everyone else feels pretty lucky and blessed that when it comes to this time of the year we are pretty fortunate and blessed to do these kinds of things," says Bryan Baker an organizer.
The event also features a holiday village and a concert by Elvis.
