It's the season for parties and get-togethers, but also the season for giving.
So why not combine the two?
The South Bend Alumni Kappa chapter hosted a benefit today. Every guest was expected to show up with a toy donation for Hope Ministries and then they were invited to enjoy wine tasting, eating, and live entertainment.
"It's sort of like party with a purpose. And so obviously we're gonna have a good time because of the holiday season and just being around each other and fellowship, but we wanted to make sure we did it with a purpose and the purpose today is obviously Hope Ministries," says Henry Davis, Jr., polemarch for SB Alumni Kappa.
This was the first year for the event, but they hope to make it an annual tradition.
