Kosciusko County police say they caught a man breaking into his ex-girlfriends home on Monday.
Deputies from the sheriff's department were called out to a home on the 6500 block of E. Pierceton Road for a possible burglary shortly after noon. Once there they say 38-year-old Troy Michael Frieden exited, covered in blood, and was taken into custody.
Detectives believe Frieden broke in through a door in the garage, cutting his hand. He then shot the resident's vehicle and entered the home looking for his ex-girlfriend, who was not home.
Frieden was taken to the Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment before being taken to the county jail. The case has been taken to the county prosecutor's office for review. He is facing potential charges of Felony Burglary with a deadly Weapon, Intimidation with a Firearm, and Criminal Recklessness.
