The Salvation Army in South Bend received a nice gift today. Nipsco presented the Salvation Army with a check for one-thousand dollars. The money was donated by NIPSCO employees. They said they wanted to donate to an organization that makes a big difference in the community. "I been here for several different events but never through the whole facility to talk about some of the social things they do, it was wonderful, just a great facility, great people and volunteers," said Angie Nelson with NIPSCO.
In addition to the money NIPSCO also donated food and clothing to the Salvation Army.
