"There's nothing better than waiting till the last minute," says shopper Paul Van Dyke.
Many shoppers rushed to the mall for their last chance on Christmas gifts.
"I've been known to go out five hours before the stores close and get everything picked perfectly," says Van Dyke.
Shopping on Christmas Eve is typical for some.
"Uh no it's still early for me so I'm not procrastinating yet," says shopper Jay Killian.
Others say this is unusual for them.
"I'm usually done like four weeks ago, but it's been fun, I think I'll do it again next year," says Debra Brown.
For her and her husband, a new grandchild turned them into last minute shoppers.
"I really hate coming out on Christmas Eve, but when you've got a great reason like this you've got too."
But these shoppers aren't the only procrastinators.
"I still have a few things to pick up, but I can do that when I start making my rounds tonight," says Concord Mall's Santa Clause.
He says last minute shopping has some pros and cons.
"It's good for some and bad for others but if you wait till the last minute you might miss out on a good deal."
Good deals or not, now it's time to just grab something!
