Marshall County authorities capture wanted fugitive

A wanted fugitive is behind bars in Marshall County tonight.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department says William Newman was arrested in the 100 block of North Michigan Street in Argos.

Newman was wanted in both Fulton and Marshall counties. Police obtained consent to enter the property.

When officers went to the front door of the building Newman opened the door, then slammed it and fled inside with officers behind him. He quickly surrendered to officers.
