The Notre Dame football team had full contact today for the first time in it's preps for Alabama in the National Championship. The Irish will have another physical practice Sunday before having the holiday off, the team leaves for Miami on January 2nd.
Coach Brian Kelly says, this isn't a vacation. He will implement a strict curfew.
Kelly told the media Saturday he usually has a 2 a.m. curfew the first night or two on bowl trips so players can have fun. He says the curfew in Miami will be 11 p.m. every night, saying he has told the Irish (12-0) to approach the game as a business trip.
