A local fire department is showing their support for the Fighting Irish.
The Clay Fire Department have dropped their standard blue shirts and gone with a green shirt to show support for Notre Dame in the upcoming national championship game.
The shirts were bought by the firefighters and they did not use any fire department funds in their purchase.
The green shirts proved so popular that they started selling them.
"We've sold almost 400 shirts, and we've raised almost $1,000 and all the proceeds are gonna go to Kelly Cares foundation," says Chris Martin with Clay Fire Department.
The department plans to switch back to the blue shirts after next weeks game.
