A lot of people did as part of their New Year's Resolution.
But how do you make your promise to get in shape last?
The fitness pros over at Pinnacle Athletic Club say one of the best pieces of advice is to find a workout buddy.
"I find that it does. I work with my best friend all the time. It just motivates me. Working out with someone is an advantage if you like that," says Tierra Harris with Pinnacle Athletic Club.
Jessica Rook who is committed to fitness in 2013 says, "If you have a significant other in the house you both need to be on the same page. We've tried it separate and it didn't work so we're both fighting it together this time."
