
The Irish have landed and are in South Florida ready for the big game.
The Notre Dame team arrived at Fort Lauderdale International Airport at about 3:30 p.m..
Roughly 100 media members waiting to see the Fighting Irish as they exited their plane.
The plane came in with fire trucks shooting water over the top to make a special entrance.
"I'm Really enjoying this weather. You know I was just home [in Hawaii], but there was no sun when I was home so its good to get out here and finally see some sunshine," said Notre Dame Wide Receiver Robbie Toma.
Representatives from the BCS Committee and a few Notre Dame alums were there as Coach Kelly and the team landed.
Alabama arrived in Florida shortly after Notre Dame at the Miami Airport.
