The Indiana Senate and House will reconvene Monday. We caught up with local legislators Friday who are gearing up for the session. They're all working on several bills. Things like a farmer's bill of rights, help for small businesses and improved education. The economy will also be taking center stage during the session. "the biggest thing this year is the budget so we're already going over numbers and trying to see where we're at statewide and where we'll be fiscally," said Senator for Indiana District 12, Carlin Yoder.
Yoder predicts the Indiana legislature will get fiscal issues resolved in a better manner than what we've seen on a national level lately. And we'll have a full legislature preview for you with many more local politicians on Sunday night. Tune in to FOX28 news that night and check FOX28.com
