Goshen's annual Fire and Ice Festival kicked off Friday night. Several ice carvers were busy showing off their skills sculpting ice blocks into masterpieces. And flocks of people roamed the streets of downtown to check out all those ice sculptures, roast marshmallows, and admire the fire dancers. But of course their favorite part of the night was just seeing what could be made from ice. Festival goer Tyshawnaa Hurron said, "I love seeing all the different things people can make like Mickey Mouse and snowman."
The festival continues Saturday with a chili cook off from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
