The Big Brothers and Sisters of Elkhart hosted a free movie showing at the Lerner Theatre Tuesday evening.
Moviegoers enjoyed The Blind Side.
This showing is part of the organization celebrating national mentoring month.
Arvis Dawson was at the showing.
He delivered a proclamation to kick things off.
An organizer says the movie is a great example of the organization's mission to help kids.
"The Blind Side is a great movie because it tells the story of how important it is to care about children in the community," says Stephanie Patka with Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
If you could not make Tuesday's event there's still plenty left for the month.
The organization is still looking for mentors.
