A semi loaded up with grain was on its side following a Wednesday morning accident.
The accident happened on Dogwood Road near the intersection of Madison Road in southern Saint Joseph County. The driver's son tells FOX28 his father was heading south on Dogwood and got too close to the soft shoulder, losing control and tipping over.
Dispatchers say the driver of the truck was checked out at the scene, but was not taken to the hospital.
The driver's son tells FOX28 the truck appears to be a total loss.
Dogwood Road was closed in the area for the clean-up.
