A linebacker expected to join the Fighting Irish has decommitted to Notre Dame. According to our partners at Blue and Gold Illustrated, Alex Anzalone says he will now attend Florida.
Anzalone had said back in November that he was 100% committed to Notre Dame and the university was "the right fit, the players, commits, academics, coaches, everything."
Anzalone's decommit comes less than a day after it came out that Head Coach Brian Kelly had interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Anzalone is ranked as the 43rd overall recruit in the country.
