Irish Fans Happy Coach Kelly is staying with team

Posted:

Irish fans are reacting to the news that Coach Kelly is staying.  Fans tell us they were worried earlier this week when they heard Kelly interviewed with the eagles.  They even say Kelly has lost some credibility by interviewing with the NFL team.  But despite that they are happy he'll be back again to coach the Irish.  Notre Dame Student David Reed said, "I'm really glad he's staying.  I thought he did a great job over the past three years and I'm excited he's back."  Chris Secontine, a Notre Dame Alumnus said, "I think it's really great.  He's done a great job over the past three years.  He's accomplished more than his more recent predecessors and he's really added to the program."  And Notre Dame fan John Burus said, "There's unfinished business here.  Notre Dame's ready to win some National Championships and I think he's the right guy for the job."

Fans added that with Kelly at the helm of the team again the Irish can win a National Championship next year.
