It was standing room only Sunday as the City of Mishawaka dedicated a new fire hall.
The new Fire Station#4 replaces a facility that was built in 1929.
The bigger building can better fit fire equipment and it features a training room to host community events.
Fire Chief Dale Freeman says their previous building hadn't kept up with the times, so this is a huge improvement.
"With today's technology, the wiring, the infrastructure, the servers, the computer stuff that we have in here is more state of the art than anything we could ever accomplish in the 1929 building," says Freeman.
THe dedication was open to the public and many gathered to tour the new building.
