13 year old Kristina Lynch won the NFL Punt, pass and kick National Championship this weekend. She beat out 5-hundred thousand kids from around the country.
Lynch was recognized during the Falcons vs Seahawks game in Atlanta. Despite entering nationals in 4th place, she won with a total of 328 feet one inch, coming just 12 feet shy of the all-time record.
This is her second national championship, she also won two years ago.
She returned home Monday afternoon and we met up with her at Discovery Middle School where her classmates interviewed her for the morning announcements, so we decided to put them to work as our junior FOX 28 reporters.
"I'm Emily Mack with Kristina Lynch and Reis Kennedy for WDMS and FOX 28." Lynch says it was a great experience that she was happy to share with her dad.
Lynch says she will try to win her 3rd National Championship next year.
