The City of South Bend is thinking of making changes to some downtown streets.
The city is studying whether some one-way streets should be changed to allow traffic in both directions.
Engineering and planning company D-L-Z of South Bend will be studying the current patterns..
Tonight drivers are reacting to the news.
"I think the streets have worked the way they are for a long time. I'm really comfortable with it and I think the traffic flows real good," said Larry Hess.
"I don't think its a good idea.I think one of the things I've always liked about South Bend is we do have these broad one-way streets and I also know as people get older they forget if you change things," said Lucy Emery.
The city says there's been a lot of interest in the changes, especially from business owners.
