The cold snowy weather Sunday made for the perfect wrap to an annual festival.
The Hunter Ice Festival in Niles finished up four days of activities Sunday.
Coordinators say the weather made for some challenges earlier in the weekend as warm temperatures were causing ice sculptures to melt.
But Sunday's chill was perfect for the final day of sculpting.
"Our businesses did really well. And that's really the focus of the Main Street program, to get people downtown, to see what we have to offer, to discover new businesses that have opened up since the last Hunter Ice Festival," says Festival Coordinator Chickie Landgraf.
Many businesses were open with specials and passed out hot chocolate and other goodies to festival visitors.
