Hundreds celebrate MLK at breakfast

Hundreds gathered in South Bend this morning to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.

A community service recognition breakfast was held at the Century Center.

Highlights of the event included vocal and mime performances as well as the Mayor's of South Bend and Mishawaka handing out awards for outstanding work in the community.

Organizers say the event gets bigger each year.

This year marked the 27th annual breakfast celebrating the life of Dr. King.
