Hartman's are a wrestling family

High school wrestling sectionals begin Saturday.  For the Clay Colonials, it's a culmination of a life-time of work.  Head coach Al Hartman has been coaching his sons since they were in pee-wee wrestling.  Hartman has watched them grow from toddlers to title contenders.

Al Hartman is a hall of fame wrestling coach and he's been at the helm at Clay for 24 years... but watching his son, Jake win the Al Smith tournament brought him to tears.

Jake is a sophomore and Mitch is a senior at Clay, both were Al Smith champs and Mitch is ranked 2nd in the state in the 132 pound weight class.

Both have come a long way.  They started wrestling when they were 4 and have been tagging along with dad on the mat ever since they were old enough to walk.

Wrestling is a part of every day life growing up in the Hartman house.  Al put in a wrestling mat, complete with time clock and their names on it.  He says there are still holes in the walls from all the tussells.  While they may have had some good battles over the years at home, they are still each other's biggest fan.

Mitch just set the Clay career record with 157 wins, he is 37-0 this season.
