The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation, more commonly known as TRANSPO, is working on alternative analysis to try and find out how to make for a better commute in the area.
They're working to improve mobility, get more people to ride TRANSPO busses, and "enhance transit connections to and from South Bend's central business district." They're looking for input from people in the area to find out how they can accomplish those goals.
The first meeting will be Wednesday at the St. Joseph County Public Library located at 304 South Main Street in South Bend. It will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. and people can expect to meet at the Humphries Multimedia Room, which is on the lower level of the library.
