Reward offered in Elkhart credit union robbery

Police are hunting for two bank robbery suspects. The robbery happened at 9:55am this morning at the Chiphone Federal Credit Union on the 1600 block of Beardsley Avenue in Elkhart.

The two men reportedly entered the credit union, showed a handgun, demanded money, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The FBI is offering a $4,000 reward to information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is asked to call the Elkhart Police Department at 574-295-7076.
