Hundreds of students attended an open house with questions about a new way of learning. The Elkhart Area Career Center held it's annual open house for all prospective students and their families.
Visitors could tour the building and learn more about the 26 programs offered at the center. From machinery, to cosmetology, culinary arts, and photography, the center offers a hands-on learning experience.
"What they gain is an understanding of what we offer. With all of our programs here it helps you as a student realize what you can do in the next year or two to get an edge," says Bill Kovach, Elkhart Area Career Center Director.
Over 500 people attended the open house, some looking to enroll this fall.
