With temperatures spiking and plunging like they are...
You may run across more pot holes as your driving around.
We caught up with a maintenance crew in South Bend.
Workers are busy filling pot-holes with what they call a "coal-patch" material.
It's a special temporary fix that's easier to use in the winter.
The crews are working as fast as they can to keep the roads safe!
"Drive safely. Keep your eyes open," said Bureau of Streets John Davis. "If you see a hole try not to hit it. Call us, let us know. We'll get out and fix it if it's ours and just, hey, you should be alright out there!"
