Students get help applying for financial aid

Mishawaka High School seniors and their parents received help Tuesday navigating the financial aid process.

"I think its key right now because a lot of families are concerned about how they're going to pay for college. 'Can I really get a college education?' And I think the answer for families is yes. There's a range of options and so many different sources of aid," says Mary Nucciaroni, Director of Financial Aid for Notre Dame.

If you were unable to attend the event, there's another one planned for next month on February 24th at Ivy Tech in South Bend.

Financial aid administrators from around the area will be volunteering their time to help families for free.
