Do you have trouble getting your children excited about math? The folks at Perley Primary Fine Arts Academy in South Bend brought in some reinforcements to help make the subject more exciting.
"It's really fun," said Notre Dame Basketball Player Whitney Holloway. She was among several players who took part in Perley's Math Night Wednesday. "We love coming to hang out with the kids."
Principal Darice Austin-Phillips said having the team on hand during the math related festivities was thrilling for the kids and the parents. "They're providing support, helping and engaging them to learn."
The parents at the event took away ideas for math games they could practice with their children to keep them engaged at home.
