It's been a lot of ups and downs for tubers at St. Joseph County Parks. It just hasn't always been the fun kind.
The parks had to open late for tubing because of the light snowfall this season. Then they had to close down again, thanks to the rain last week. Our recent snow has them back open again, and should last through the weekend at least.
Snow shoe and cross country ski rentals will also be available on Saturday and Sunday.
You should still call the parks department before you head out there, because all activities are weather permitting.
