Penn swimmers dominate at sectionals

Girls swimming sectionals at Mishawaka.  In the 200 free style, Penn's Emily Meckstroth finished first and team mate Madeline Bradford was second.
In the 200 I-M, defending state champ Bethany Galat once again swam away with the crown.  With a time of 2:02.64, team mates Addisyn Bursch was second and Annie Spalding third.
A Penn swimmer won all but one event.  St Joe's Samantha Reese took the diving crown.
The 200 yard medley relay team of Bursch, Abby Hildebrandt, Galat and Jennifer Priebe broke their own record with a time of 1:47.61 enroute to the Kingsmen taking the overall team title.
The Penn girls say they hope this is just the first step in getting their team to state.
