A big football game like the Super Bowl just wouldn't be complete without beer. And people were sure buying a lot of it Sunday in Michigan. Belle Plaza Party Store in Niles told us sales for Sunday were nearly double what they are on a normal Sunday. There were tons of people coming into buy liquor for their Super Bowl parties. So what was the most popular alcohol on the shelves? Well cashier Radvier Singh said, "we sell mostly the Budweiser 24 packs. One guy buy almost three big ones." Singh said after Budweiser Coors Light was the most popular choice Sunday.
Most of Sunday's sales also came from Indiana residents who can't buy alcohol in the state Sunday. Singh said the majority of id's he checked Sunday were Indiana.
