IHOP helping area hospitals with free pancakes

The International House of Pancakes is helping out area hospitals for National Pancake Day.

On Tuesday, the restaurant chain is offering a free short-stack of pancakes in exchange for a donation to Riley's Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

More than 1,500 IHOPs around the country are taking part in the event. Free pancakes will be offered until 10:00pm Tuesday night.

The fundraiser aims to raise $3 million nationally for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' 30th anniversary.
