A South Bend television meteorologist is facing charges for refusing a breathalyzer and leaving the scene of a crash.
Police say they got a call about an accident Saturday night on Generations Drive in South Bend.
When they got to the scene, no one was in the vehicle.
Identification in the car led police to Jamie Martin, chief Meteorologist for ABC 57 News.
Martin was taken to the hospital for his injuries where he refused a breathalyzer.
He was then taken to the St. Joe County jail where he received a portable breath test that read a .22.
Martin bonded out of jail.
