Ziker Cleaners is collecting gently used prom dresses for their tenth annual Princess for a Night event. All of Ziker's eight store locations will have boxes where dresses can be donated.
Young ladies in the area will be able to go pick out a dress to wear to their prom. "Everybody remembers their high school prom," Retail Store Director Jennifer Probst says. "It's a really important day for any high school student, so for somebody who can't afford a dress that rangers between $300 and $500 they can pick out a dress for free so they can attend their high school prom."
Last year over 500 dresses were given away to girls from area schools.
Ziker will hold the event on March 23rd at the Century Center in South Bend.
