The following is a statement from Starboard Choice Marine. The company says it was storing boats for customers at the old foundry that burned Monday. They would not say how many boats were stored on the property.
"We at Starboard Choice Marine have been devastated as we learned of the fire that destroyed a facility in which we have boats.
At this time, we are searching for answers as to what happened to cause such devastation. There is an ongoing investigation by authorities to determine the cause of this fire.
Our customers have and always will be our number one concern. We will work tirelessly to assist our customers in this disaster."
