Companies creating jobs were honored at an Annual reception of the Cornerstone Alliance and Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce Wednesday night. They gave out 45 awards to business leaders and companies making a difference in the community. They considered all kinds of factors including jobs created, money invested or businesses expanded in the area. Pat Moody The Executive Vice President of Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce said, it's really important to honor these companies and individuals. "They are the wheels of commerce in this community. They are the people that are making it happen, you know, and we think it's important to recognize the people that are creating jobs, the people who are doing good things."
The 2012 large Business of the Year Award went to Alu Tech.
