If you don't have plans for the weekend, how about a 5K walk?
Homeward Bound is hosting it's annual "A Walk in Their Shoes."
It's Saturday morning and it circles the Concord Mall. Registration starts at 9 and the walk begins at 9:45.
All funds go directly to agencies that will assist homeless people in Elkhart County.
"The more people that come out and walk and show their support makes a big statement. We're not looking away from the issue but we're looking directly at the issue at hand, trying to solve the problem," says Jennifer Doty, Program Director at IFIT.
