A former
PHM janitor has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexual exploitation of
children for putting a camera in a locker room.
Robert
Troup was sentenced by a federal judge Friday morning.
Troup
pleaded guilty to the sexual
exploitation of children charge in November of 2012.
Troup was arrested in December of
2011 after he was accused of putting the camera in the boys' swimming locker
room at Penn High School. Some students found the
camera and eventually turned it over the school officials, who turned it in to
police. Reports say the camera was angles toward the showers, capturing images
of students in the showers and getting undressed.
Along with the prison
sentence, Troup will also serve 20 years of supervised release and will have
to pay $1,100 resolution to one of the victims.
