SPA Women's Ministry Home helped the community with an evening of dinner and desserts Friday. It was the group's annual fundraiser at First Baptist Church in Bristol. Lake City Bank helped sponsor the event with a $5,000 donation.
People were able to bid on cakes and silent auction items. Some of the women who received help shared their success stories. "When you take somebody off the street and out them back into the community with a job and reunited with your family it means everything," said Sandra Bontrager.
