Warsaw's season was on the line, down 1 with 20 seconds to go when Melanie Holladay's putback basket would become the game winner. The Tigers beat Merrillville 42-to-41 to win the Regional Championship.
Warsaw will play Ft Wayne South Side in the semi-state on their home court Saturday.
Holladay says it was a surreal feeling to make the game winning basket, she is so happy the Tigers won and will host the semi-state game.
