Blotter: Israel Acosta, 38 years of age, 517 S. Main St., Goshen, was arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child
under 16 years of age after officers had conducted an investigation at address where a domestic fight had been reported. He
was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.

Blotter; Police were called to the 400 Blk E Lincoln Ave, Goshen, reference a found 2 Yoa child. When police arrived, they found
the person responsible for caring for the child. It was determined that that child had left the the house where he was being cared
for without anyone at the residence realizing that the child was gone. A report was taken and DCS was contacted.

In a letter to Council President Oliver Davis, Henry Davis Jr. said he is taking a medical leave to concentrate on his health. He said he is unable to comment on his July 19 arrest for Operating While Intoxicated, under the advisement of legal council.
