New fitness camp helps girls in life

Girls gone Strong is the catchy name of a new local fitness camp.

The woman behind the idea... Lori Harris... has a teenage daughter herself.

She says girls ages 11 to 18 can often struggle with body image.

"Girls Gone Strong" aims to tackle those problems through team-work.

"So that they emerge from this program with a good idea of what it means to be healthy, to not compare themselves to other girls that may surround them and to come away with a love of fitness," said Bootcamp Team Trainer Lori Harris.

The "Girls Gone Strong" program is going on now at "Bootcamp Team Training" in Elkhart.

Harris says learning proper nutrition and exercise can help boost your self-esteem.
