People all across the country have been trying to figure out what to do to curb the ongoing gun violence problem that has plagued many communities. On Thursday, Indiana University South Bend invites people to put their heads together on that issue.
They'll be holding a gun violence forum from 10 to 11:15 a.m. inside the Student Activity Center, room 225. According to a press release the forum will focus on recent mass shootings and "Asking whether there is a policy solution to gun violence."
Brief remarks will be provided from three panelists, followed by a question and answer session. The panelists include Student Counseling Center Director Jim Hurst, David Huntington and American Democracy Project Director Elizabeth Bennion.
The event is hosted by the American Democracy Project and IUSB's Political Science Club. Snacks will be provided. If you have any questions on the forum you can contact ADP intern Matt Kavanaugh by e-mail.
