BMX event coming to South Bend

If extreme sports are your thing you are gonna want to head to South Bend this weekend.

The second annual Brett Banasiewicz BMX contest will be taking place at the Kitchen Skate Park.

Brett will be at the event as a spectator as he is still recovering from his injuries.

Over 50 professional riders will be at the event from all over the world.

"Brett's a pro bmx rider, he loves bmx its his life, and what he wanted to do to build the kitchen is progress the sport," says Lisa Banasiewicz.

The event will take place Saturday and Sunday, tickets are $3.
