Three Kosciusko County men have been arrested in connection with a Wednesday night stabbing in Warsaw, while two men remain in a Fort Wayne Hospital.
Officers say when they arrived at the Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park in Warsaw Wednesday evening they found Ruben Enciso, who had been stabbed multiple times, and Hugo Alvarado, who had a broken leg and a head injury.
Authorities believe Hugo, along with his brother Juan Carlos Alvarado had gotten into a fight with Enciso at the mobile home which led to Juan Carlos allegedly stabbing Enciso.
Early Thursday morning, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Detectives found Juan Carlos at a Columbia Street residence in Warsaw, where he was taken into custody. Juan Carlos is charged with felony attempted murder with a knife.
Officers then got a warrant to search the Columbia Street house. Two residents of the house, Andres Cervantes and Armando Cervantes, were arrested after officers found about 1 ¼ pounds of marijuana, paraphernalia, and a knife. Police believe the knife was the same one used in the stabbing.
Both Ruben Enciso and Hugo Alvarado are both still in a Fort Wayne hospital. Enciso is listed in serious condition, while Hugo Alvarado is in fair condition. Juan Alvarado is being held without bond at the Kosciusko County Jail, and the Cervantes brothers are each being held on individual $450 cash bonds.
