A celebration of sorts at Saint Mary's College. They reached over 70 percent of their goal for their Faith Always, Action Now campaign.
The campaign started in 2008 with the goal to raise $80 million for the school's annual fund. Gifts and pledges have helped them reach the 70% mark.
One of the campaign chairs, Susan Rice, says it will have a huge impact on students. "It will mean that students will have experiential learning. They can do more labs, a complete renovation of the science hall, renovating a library to make more room for printed material."
In addition to renovations, money will go towards scholarships to help future students.
